Approximately 170 wild horses were captured. AWHC's field representative was among six public observers on site. The day began early, with horses brought in slowly and calmly. Despite several attempts, a band led by a determined bay stallion evaded capture.

The roundup concluded with the capture of the final group, as the chopper landed and operations ceased for the day.
