An Unforgettable Evening: Stay Wild LA
On Thursday, Sept. 19, at our Stay Wild LA event in Santa Monica, American Wild Horse Conservation (formerly American Wild Horse Campaign) had the honor of presenting the 2024 Freedom Award to American designer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and wild horse advocate Jenni Kayne. This award is given to individuals who have made a lasting impact on our mission to keep wild horses wild. Jenni has shown unwavering dedication—raising awareness within the public and equestrian communities, rallying support, and directly contributing to our initiatives. She embodies the spirit of this award with her passion, grace, and resolve to fight for the freedom of America’s wild horses. We couldn’t be more proud to honor her.
Event Highlights
Other event highlights included: A heartfelt speech by DJ and AWHC Ambassador Brandi Cyrus about her deep connection to wild horses and why she supports AWHC’s work. She's pictured below with a photo by WilsonAxpe Photoadvocacy.
A beautiful performance by singer-songwriter and animal advocate Rainsford, a sneak peek of extraordinary footage from "Horse Power," an upcoming global nature film, presented by Mark Brownlow of Plimsoll. And our amazing guests who left inspired to join the fight for the freedom of wild horses on our western public lands.
