Deana Kirk, Nevada Operations Coordinator, is driven by a commitment to making a positive impact on both the community and the environment. She is dedicated to optimizing efficiency and effectiveness within all of Nevada's projects and programs. Database management, fertility control, landowner/developer relations, and community education are some of the projects that she coordinates.

In addition to her professional role, Deana is a fervent advocate for animals and the environment. She is a volunteer with the nation’s busiest technical large animal rescue team, where she serves as an Assistant Supervisor and Foal Specialist. This position allows Deana to channel her expertise into rescuing and rehabilitating large animals, with a particular focus on the care and support of young foals. She lives in Reno with her husband and two daughters. As a family, they love to spend time watching the wild horses on the Virginia Range.
