Virginia Range Horses in Need of Immediate Placement
If you can provide a forever home, please email [email protected].
Waylon and his family need your help now! The NDA has captured our beautiful Virginia Range wild horses, and they are at the Carson prison awaiting their fate! We are desperate to find good, quality forever homes for them because our inn is still full, and we are unable to take on new rescues.
Waylon’s Family: Two Mares, Two Fillies, and a Colt
Waylon is one of our all-American stallions from the USA Parkway area of the Virginia Range. He has a velvety sorrel coloring, and his age is unknown. His family includes two lovely bay mares, Dolly and Loretta, two adorable fillies, Faith (about 9 months old) and Shania (8 months old), and one handsome chestnut colt named Willie, about 7 months old. Can you make their Christmas come true this year?
Mr. Shaggs' Family: Misty His Mare, and Twyla Their 8-Month-Old Filly
Mr. Shaggs is a beloved and well-known stallion from Reno’s Damonte Ranch area. He is a gentle and highly intelligent (newly) gelded 5-6-year-old bay wild horse. His mare, Misty, is approximately 5 years old and is a stunning dark chocolate bay color. She has a gorgeous 8-month-old filly at her side, Twyla, who is also a gorgeous dark chocolate bay color like her momma. This little family needs a home for Christmas!
Smokey’s Family: Two Mares, a Colt, and a Filly
Smokey is one of our very sweet and oh-so-smart stallions from Reno’s Virginia Foothills area. He is about 6-7 years old and is a stunningly beautiful black wild horse with a wide star, strip, and snip. His family is made up of two mares, a colt, and a filly. Violet is a chocolate palomino mare with a flaxen mane who has an adorable 8-month-old bay colt named Abe, who has a distinct but narrow star. Rose is the other mare, a brilliant bay color, and she has a gorgeous red roan filly at her side. Hyacinth is about 8 months old and turns almost white in the spring. They long for an inn of their own!
