Statewide Hearing Scheduled on Helicopter and Motorized Vehicle Use in BLM Wild Horse Management
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming invites the public to its annual statewide hearing on the use of helicopters and motorized vehicles in wild horse management operations. This hearing is an opportunity for interested parties to express their views and suggestions regarding these practices.

The hearing will be hosted by the High Desert District on:

Helicopters are utilized for wild horse removals, census, and population distribution flights over herd management areas. Motorized vehicles, including tractor-trailers and pickup trucks, are used to transport wild horses.
Participation and Comments
Each attendee will have approximately three minutes to present their comments. Comments made during the formal statewide public hearing will be recorded, and summaries will be available upon request. Please note that your entire comment, including personal identifying information, may be made publicly available. While you can request that your personal information be withheld, there is no guarantee of confidentiality.
The hearing will conclude immediately after the last commenter has spoken.
