NBC News to Air Exclusive Report on Wild Horses
NBC News is preparing to air 'Wild But Not Free', an exclusive report by senior investigative correspondent Lisa Myers about the plight of America's wild horses. NBC will carry news stories on the Today Show, Evening News, and on its website. The report will feature an interview with music legend Carole King, who graciously agreed to speak to NBC on behalf of wild horses at the request of American Wild Horse Conservation (formerly American Wild Horse Campaign). Carole's message to the government: Stop The Roundups! She is pictured here onsite at the NBC interview with the lovely Isadora Cruce, a Spanish colonial mustang. Also interviewed for the story on the side of America's mustangs were AWHC Director Suzanne Roy and Ginger Kathrens, Executive Director of The Cloud Foundation and noted wildlife filmmaker.
The story was originally scheduled to air on the Today Show on April 4, but was bumped at the last minute, and will be rescheduled soon. Stay tuned for more details on the air date for this important story!
