Creating a fundraising page is a great way to support the American Wild Horse Conservation (formerly American Wild Horse Campaign). This guide will walk you through the steps to set up and customize your page, ensuring it reflects your goals and message. Follow these steps to create a compelling fundraising page that you can share with your friends and family.

Step 1

  • Fill out your contact information.
  • Customize your text to make it personal and engaging.

Example: Add a personal story or reason for supporting the cause.

  • Once finished, click 'Create My Page'.

Step 2

  • You will be directed to the 'Tell Your Friends' page. You can choose to send an email about your page now or wait until your page is entirely finished.
  • Next, click 'View your donation page'.

Example: Share a draft email with friends to get feedback.

Step 3

  • View your donation page. To add a photo and further modify your page, you need to log in first.

Step 4

  • If you do not have or remember your login information, click the 'Not signed up yet?' link at the bottom.
  • You will be emailed a temporary password and should now have the ability to log in.

Example: Check your email for the temporary password and log in.

Step 5

  • After logging in, you can now modify your page!

Example: Update your story or add new photos.

Step 6

Here you will be able to add a photo, change your page goal amount, and further tweak your text.

  • After the page looks the way you like it, click 'save' at the bottom.

Step 7

  • Scroll to the top and click 'View this donation page'.

Example: Review your page to ensure everything is correct.

Step 8

You should now be looking at your finalized fundraising page! The link in the browser is what you will be sharing on your social media pages. Click the 'Tell your friends' button to invite friends and family to your page by email.
