Founder and CEO of Road Ranger, AWHC's Founding Sponsor, Passes Away
In Memory of Dan Arnold
It is with deep sadness that the American Wild Horse Conservation (formerly American Wild Horse Preservation) brings news of the sudden passing of Dan Arnold, the founder and CEO of Road Ranger LLC, our founding corporate sponsor. Dan was a true visionary and humanitarian whose support for charitable causes spanned from ministries to help ailing, addicted, and other people in need to efforts to save and protect America’s wild horses and burros. Dan's passion for horses and their unbridled strength and beauty led him to choose the mustang as his company’s logo. Not content to just use the image, Dan put resources behind the symbol by becoming AWHC’s founding sponsor and sustaining donor for the last five years. Road Ranger's support launched the campaign into its current prominence, and we owe much to the generosity of Dan and his company. His legacy of compassion and caring lives on through our work and the work of the many other good causes he supported.
Our hearts go out to Dan’s family and all of the wonderful folks at Road Ranger, including its president Dave Saporta, who have been so supportive, both morally and financially, to AWHC over the years.
